Top of New Bern NC Oil by Janet Francoeur – One of my favorite subjects to paint is our skyline! In fact that is one of the reasons we moved here, our new home had to be 1) on the water, 2) not too huge, 3) paintable. When we were looking for a new home we also said it had to be a place that was on its way but hadn’t gotten there yet. We chose well! A lot has changed since 1989 but this beautiful skyline has not.
